I applied for the position on Bain's career website and I was contacted for a phone interview one week or so later. After that I was invited for a face to face 2 hours interview in Bain's office in London consisting in three rounds of interviews with the hiring manager and several members of the legal team. All the interviews, both over the phone and face to face, were quite easy and relaxed, more of a chat, yet professional. I wasn't asked any technical questions. Indeed, the purpose of the interviews was clearly understanding if I was a good match for the position and the company, rather than testing my skills. All the interviewers were really kind and made me feel comfortable all along the selection process. For these reasons, even though I didn't get an offer, I would describe this as an overall positive experience.
