The interview was scheduled at 4:00 pm. But the interviewer didn't show up until 20 minutes after. So I was waiting in the interviewer's office for 20 minutes. When the interviewer showed and sat down, he mentioned he never saw my resume, and was perusing my resume as we sat down together. He asked me a few questions, and then asked me can you do VB scripting right off the bat? I responded politely stating no, but I can do basic VB scripting. He then continued to say, let's not waste your time here, i have a candidate who is in master in computer science, let's not waste your time either. And then he proceeded to ask me if I have any other positions/offers line up. I continued with yes, some prospect, he responded with:" Let me give you an honest advice, take any offer you can get". I was really disappointed with whole process, and understandably it was during economy recession, and companies have hiring freeze. But the whole process was disappointing, needless to say, it left a bad taste in my mouth.
