I went through an agency, there was a 2 stage process. First stage with support function team leader and another colleague already in the role. Second stage with 1 partner and 1 director. The partner, who admitted not reading my CV in the first 5 minutes of the meeting, was on the offensive from the get go. He berated me for the format of my CV for 10 mins (whilst I apologised), all the while KNOWING that their HR department copied and pasted my original document and didn't keep my formatting. After completely throwing me off my game, he was rude, aggressive and unapologetic about it. The other woman in the room did nothing. She could see that I was on the verge of tears due to the way I was being treated and carried on asking questions as if I was stupid. I've never been more embarrassed in an interview in my life, through no fault of my own, so much so that I rescinded my application to work there! This seemed to be reflective of the company ethos. It was intentional and I am DISGUSTED by this company and will continuously tell everyone to avoid!
