First I took the Culture Questionnaire online, then I was contacted by email for the phone interview which was conducted by a woman from Romania, then I was called by the same woman for the face to face interview, that was conducted by a panel of three gentlemen.

I received a screening invitation on a Sunday evening and was told the interview had to happen the very next day due to urgent timelines. I agreed because of the brand name, even though the timing was inconvenient. I was told there would be an assessment centre on Wednesday, so they needed to move quickly. However, after my Monday interview, I was unexpectedly told there would be another interview the very next day. I wasn’t prepared, and I was also travelling that week. I explained this and asked if I could at least have confirmation about the assessment centre, as I would need to make some arrangements. I received vague but positive signals, so I agreed again. After the second interview, I went out of my way to reschedule my travel, arranged for a friend to hold my luggage during the assessment centre, and delayed my trip later at night, just to stay committed. And then? Nothing. No update, no follow-up. Just a rejection two months later! I understand that companies can't hire everyone. But this kind of disorganised, last-minute, and ultimately disrespectful treatment of candidates' time is unacceptable, especially from a global brand. At the very least, be honest, communicate clearly, and don’t give false urgency or hope. I was a job seeker but not "jobless"!
