I can't believe I wasted time doing a phone interview with this firm. I'm glad it was just a phone interview and nothing more. I was sent an auto email and given different time slots to pick from which I think was very efficient. I then had an interview on the chosen day and time. Strange enough the recruiter seemed like someone who was outsourced by Medimmune because they didn't seem to have their stuff together. His questions were pretty generic, he couldn't answer most of my own questions about the job itself, and shockingly he said he did not have my resume in front of him because of the way the recruiting website is built or something (let's just say he was unprepared and his reason absolutely did not make sense for something that is recruiting 101 basic- to have the resume). The next day I was sent an auto email to fill out the application with a lot of personal information. Thank goodness it did not ask for SSN or DOB. It did however, ask for references and salaries at where you worked. Two weeks passed by and then I got another auto email saying they will not move forward with my application. What??? Why even ask me to fill out an application if you plan on not moving forward? I think this place is a joke and probably couldn't afford my salary requirements or maybe they are just trying to figure out how low they are in the job market when it comes to salaries. I already told the recruiter my expectations so I don't really know why I wasn't asked to come in for an interview. I would have been fine if they didn't ask me to fill anything and stop at that. I know the position wasn't cancelled because it was still active when I checked. I had applied to this company over 10 years ago when I was moving to the area. I should've known better because back then they were really cheap but at least they were upfront about it during the phone interview and didn't waste my time to come in for a physical interview. This time, they went so far as to ask for my personal information (salaries of where I worked, references, names of supervisors, etc). Never apply again!
