Applied online and didn’t hear back for 2 months. Had to reach out directly to finally get a phone screening, followed by 2 interviews. HR didn’t call at the set up time for the phone screening and didn’t email until the next day to redo it. The first interview with the hiring team was cancelled right before the set time. Thought it went well and got positive feedback. Didn’t hear back for 3 weeks after that with follow up emails. HR finally responded that there would be an answer by the end of the week and I still didn’t hear back for 2 weeks after that with a final generic email that they weren’t moving forward with me.

I interviewed at the NSBE national conference. It got the interview at the company booth and was scheduled to have the interview in 2 hours at the interview hall. The interview was a conversation with one of the hire-ups in the company and I received the offer on the spot.

Tell me about yourself and why you are interested in this role.
It was very conversational. They really wanted to learn more about me and how I think through things and I learned more about them and their teams. They mostly asked me about my experiences and very few typical interview questions.

What did you learn from this experience on your resume?
Average difficulty for an entry level position, did not ask too much about the technical part on remediation treatment or technologies, but asked more about the academic projects and past working experiences you put on your resume.
