J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 2 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez American Airlines (Fort Worth, TX) en avr. 2025

      Entretien

I applied through the AA career website. It took a month to get a status update on my application. That is understandable... I know this is a very large company and they are super busy. The interview process was the worst I have ever experienced... very unorganized and unprofessional. I received an email with the location of my interview, who to meet with, etc. I showed up 15–20 minutes early and checked in with security. The recruiting staff listed on my interview email did not answer security calls, letting them know I was there. It was then past time for my interview and the recruiters did not answer my calls and finally answered an email. They let me know that the recruiting team had put the incorrect building location on the confirmation email. I made my way to the correct building and it was just awkward. I also had to find where to park because I was not informed. I was advised the recruiting team had been sending out the wrong building location /information lately to interviewees. Shouldn't someone fix this asap?! How is this acceptable? I want to save some people time and energy and provide some useful information. I was informed of a lot of information at the beginning of the interview that I wish I had been told sooner. This interview should have been a phone call and not in-person! Here are some important notes about the Staff Assistant 1 position at the DFW headquarters: - There might be other interviewees in your interview. - This is a fairly new department and it will eventually be 24 hours. This is understandable. - Work schedules are based off of seniority and bids. I would understand this being a flight attendant or another position, but not the one I applied for. - More than likely, you will be working weekends and holidays! - This position is a call center-like position! You fix employees' LOA, time off, etc. You get inbound calls from employees to help with their questions. This position is NOT properly named, and the job description is deceiving. There should be more information about the schedule, it being a call center-like position, and having to work weekends/holidays in the job description! I should get AA miles having to deal with what I did during this interview!

      Questions d'entretien [1]

      Question 1

They asked what I thought about the position (after they told me about it being call center-like, having to bid for schedules and it being senority based, and having to work weekends/holidays).
