All interviews were conducted using behaviorally-focused questioning. 6-weeks after applying online, I was contacted by an HR rep for an initial phone screen. 10 days later, I spoke with the manager of the hiring dept (via phone) who then scheduled an on-site interview ~7 days later. The on-site interview was VERY mismanaged and disorganized. I met with 8 employees (either individually, or, as a panel), there were more people scheduled, but a few never showed. After the on-site interview, I never heard back from HR or the hiring manager. As a professional courtesy, every applicant should receive a follow-up stating, "you didn't get the job/we went another direction/etc.", at minimum. In retrospect, I'm relieved the offer was not extended to me, given the lack of professionalism/regard for the time I committed to the Alcon/Novartis application process. This type of disregarding behavior is rarely isolated to interviews, and highly-indicative of a company's culture and how they view/treat their employees.

Recruiter screening then 1 and done onsite interview. Very quick process then background check and drug test followed. Started in about three weeks from when the offer was made. Different process depending on team and employment type
