A friend from my university who works at Airbnb made me a referral, and a about a week later I had my first phone screening, which went quite well. However the recruiter asked me if I was interested in the German role instead of the English one I was applying for. I answered that I hadn't spoken German for 5 years and that I felt a lot more confident in English, but if there was no chance to proceed for the English role, then of course I would give it a shot. She told me they would get back to me in a couple days. A rough week later, when I hadn't heard from them, I emailed to ask if they had any news. Then the recruiter replied that they had been very busy and had had so many applicants for the English role so they weren't proceeding with mine, but that the recruiter of the German team wanted to speak with me. So a few weeks later I had my second interview in German, which obviously didn't go so well because of my rusty German:) All in all the interviewers were very friendly and the questions not so difficult.
I applied online, and it took about two weeks to get my first interview. The entire interview process felt casual, friendly, and honestly quite enjoyable overall.
1. Screening Interview with HR
They asked about my previous experience and why I was interested in a customer experience role. There was also a Q&A session about the position itself, along with a role-play exercise based on a real customer support scenario.
2. Interview with the Hiring Manager
After passing the first stage, I completed an online assessment. The hiring manager interview focused more on practical customer support situations and role-play exercises involving real-case scenarios.
3. Final Interview
The final round mainly focused on core values, culture fit, and my passion for the role.

Entretien
It was a pretty straightforward and fun experience.
1. Video interview (recording)
2. Photo interview
3. Hiring meetup (similar to an assessment centre)
4. Core value interview
I did not pass the Hiring Meetup, probably because I was too honest about my intention that I might not stay in the customer experience team for very long period (3-5 years).
Questions d'entretien [1]
