J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Adyen en mai 2024
Entretien
Although they call it an implementation manager, it's an individual contributor role, almost identical to an implementation engineer's work. A total of 4 rounds, 1st round was a phone screen with HR on background and motivation, 2nd round was an online tech round mainly focused on their web drop-in component. It is a straightforward interview you can crack if you read their online doc and play with the code a bit. 3rd one was onsite behavior and you met with an implementation manager and an account manager, all general behavior questions related. The last round with GM and senior leadership over video conference mainly checks your motivation and experience.
This role is more like a pre-sales role while I came from a hardcore engineering background.
Each person you meet is friendly and has a good manner. They kept asking Adyen's formula throughout the entire interview, but in the end, they rejected you with a rejection email (One of the formula is ”We don’t hide behind email, instead we pick up the phone“).
starts with a check-in with recruiter, then fit interview with one team member, then technical interview with two team members, then offer. Process took 1 - 2 months. recruiter is well accessible.
Long interview process (5 or 6 rounds) ending with an interview with someone from the Board.
Interviewers are looking to assess the candidate potential fit with Adyen, but interviews are very conversational.
First interview with HR was pretty normal. The second interview was with a team member who looked like he didn't care at all. There were no technical questions, all questions were related to my experience so it was difficult to fail. After that, I received a rejection without even a technical interview.
This position is always open and it has been open for years, doesn't seem like they're hiring at all.
