      Entretien

      The interview process was as follows: 1. Culture-fit interview (30 mins) 2. Case study 3. Case study interview 4. Interview with board representative 1. In the first stage I was asked general questions about my profile, why do I pursue my career in that direction, etc. I was also informed about company culture and my potential responsibilities. 2. Afterwards I was given a case study and 5 days to complete it. 3. (This is the stage after which my application was declined). After submitting the case study I had another interview (60 mins) to present my case study. My advice would be not to be guided by interviewers but set and communicate the timeline straight in the beginning (e.g. you will take 15 mins to present the case and will answer all the related questions during 15 mins afterwards). In my case I was asked questions continuously throughout the presentation and lost the track of time, which made me to hurry up with the 2nd part of the case. I rushed with the rest of my presentation but that affected my confidence and quality. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the interview a lot and found the case study very relatable to the job.

      Question 1

      The case study was divided in 3 sub-cases: 1. Data analysis. There was a database to analyze where I had to answer questions related to the data provided. On top of that I had to design a new pricing model based on my findings and some conditions given. The calculations and analysis had to be done in an Excel sheet, that I had to submit as well. 2. Strategy. Afterwards I had to describe a business strategy how to design & implement a particular change on a company level: what to research, what are the implementation steps, what are the stakeholders, what are the potential problems etc. (I was limited by 5 PowerPoint slides) 3. Technical task. A SQL problem, pretty easy one if you know how to work with JOINs and UNIONs.
