I was contacted personally, then the recruiter vanished. He again contacted me after a week telling me that he was not able to contact me in person for compliance reasons. Made me apply through their website, had me interviewed with a HR agent who was total inexperienced, did not even know anything about his company, asked a few stupid questions & was unable to answer any of my questions.

I am an international applicant. It was agreed that visa sponsorship will be done. There were 4 rounds. First round was with one of the team members. Second round was with two other team members. Third round was with the Head of Compliance. Fourth round was with a board member. Interview process started on 13 Jul 2022 and ended in 17 Aug 2022. I received a call from the recruiter 45min after my fourth round and he mentioned to me saying that they will be extending the offer to me. This was only a verbal confirmation. He then mentioned that he would be providing details of the offer and that it will take time. I respected that and waited patiently for offer details. Two weeks later after repeated emails for updates, I get to know that the offer had been rescinded because of visa complications. And all this was done through calls and no written communication is there. Though interview process was smooth and enjoyable in the four rounds I had attended, the offer was carelessly treated and no communication has been heard since then. Recruiter completely ghosted me and no one bothered to give me a clear answer on the offer that was offered to me. Extremely disappointing and appalling recruitment practice by Adyen. Be careful when going through interviews with them.
