A recruiter at Adyen contacted me through LinkedIn and inquired if I was interested in applying for the role in question.
I had an initial screening with the recruiter to learn more about the role and the company's culture and compare that to my experience.
A couple of days later I had the first round with the hiring manager, who asked me about my experience in negotiation and sales. He also asked industry specific questions that I wasn't able to answer correctly because of my lack of experience in the payments industry - specifically towards system integrators in Spain and how the market is split.
