J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris plus d'une semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez Adyen (New York, NY)
Entretien
I had two interviews. The first interview with their HR person and we did it over skype. This went really well. I could see she was familiar with my experience. There were no real gotcha questions, which was surprising to me. She got me really excited about the opportunity. The second interview was with their VP in NY. He was friendly, but I got the feeling he had no background info on me at all. He did not ask me any questions that reflected he had ever seen my CV or given me any thought before walking into the room. I had spent the weekend researching the company, competitors, and the industry. Sadly, my research did not pay any dividends. My time would have been better served by practicing my personal sales pitch. The fault is with me. I had just finished a long grueling interview process with another company and had anticipated the same type of deep grilling NY interview style. Instead, the second interview was over before we got to any real questions. I really regret not giving him a hard personal sales pitch. Adyen seems like a great company that is going places. I wish I had taken a different approach with the second interview.

I was approached directly by Adyen, had the first call with the recruiter then with a senior AM and a middle east amanger, the typical questions which was answered thoroughly and carefully, the following day received a decline template without any explanation or reasoning.

Very long process, slow communication, nice people overall. Culture didn’t seem to fit in with mine but that’s not to say it wouldn’t be good for other people. Seemed to have a flexible approach to working remotely.

If you’re an older “White Passing” straight male from the US don’t bother for a role in unified commerce. Resentful DEI and insecure L-1 Visa middle management gatekeepers made this an increasingly negative experience.
Interviewer in round 3 (of 6) clearly had it out for me. Yet they continued to stretch things out. During this time I was down leveled without them informing me. In person case study presentation moved to Zoom and was sent the automated feedback for the completion of the interview process before I was even rejected. Despite 10+ years AM, SAM, and leadership experience at major companies that are their top clients.
The people I engaged with seemed to hate their jobs more than their clients hate their products.
