J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez ASDA en août 2014
Entretien
invited to a 'magic' day involving speaking to person seated next to you , finding out some key things about them, and then introducing them to everyone else in the room. Divided into teams ( I noted the older people were put in one team..felt they had a;ready made decisions) then asked to make an item out of balloons to sell to other team. After this shown round store and a brief 3 mins interview.

J'ai passé un entretien chez ASDA (Leeds, England)
Entretien
Relaxed and fun, not too serious and some team building activities to take part in. Group work and then individual questions afterwards included. Not too stressful but covered everything I would expect in an interview for a company of the sized
It was a short individual interview with a single member of staff, very similar to other interviews of the same industry, very straight forward with simple open ended questions. The whole process took under half an hour.

Question 1
Basic interview questions about past experience in retail and customer service, team working etc
We were sat in a room of around 15 people. Around 4 employees watching us from the sides, and one employee leading the interview. They had us first introduce ourselves to the group, and then had us get together in small teams and do little exercises, just silly stuff, such as making a house out of spaghetti and marshmallows. Silly tasks, but what they're watching is how you interact with people. They then showed us a bunch of videos of higher ups talking about ASDA and what they stand for. It was an easy going, welcoming experience. Everyone who was normal got hired.
