Multinational firm --can offer good opportunities for internal job changes HQ in Silicon Valley, the tech center of the world Opportunity to work with very smart folks (eBay has a lot of talent -- the setup/process/culture can inhibit many from contributing to their potential) Has strong cash flow, operating margins that other firms would kills for, strong balance sheet, etc.
Inconvénients
Excessive process/bureaucracy & politics which preclude anything getting done quickly. Lack of confidence in the Exec team to turn things around. Lots of stressful internal motion with little impact on external metrics. Regard/consideration for employees is almost nonexistent Serious culture issues.
