Avantages
I am working with Rosen more than 10 years and had a chance to visit nearly each office around the globe. Rosen offers a laid back work environment which let you explore and contribute your own ideas. Lay offs are "not allowed" . Rosen tries to find the job that suits an employee rather than just firing him/her. With a long term vision no business driven lay offs are considered. If Rosen asks someone to leave he/she must have done really bad... The group is split into locally acting companies and the work environment is heavily influenced by those leaders. This can be a Pro or a con pending the location you are working in. Work hours are hardly excessive. At times it can get busy and require overtime but Rosen tries hard to minimize those and compensate it.
Inconvénients
Since I joined I was told we need to train up future leaders but in fact those are hired from external - not grown. Promotions are rare and if it happens usually for two reasons: employee really demanded a change and went the extra mile to go there or the employee was in favor of the manager. The Group is steered by the global management which is actively driving change through the organisation. With the local management in between those changes beeing blocked for the sake of short term goals (business =$). It is addresses but it seems the group is currently not able to break this pattern. If you join Rosen expect to do this job until you retire. If that's what you want this is your company!
