Entretien

There were 2 rounds of interviews. The first one was virtual, and the second one was on-site (Houston, TX). The on-site interview consisted of basic interview questions, a technical presentation that you had to prepare for in advance, and 3 technical questions relating to stress.

Interview Process is two step. The second interview isn't really an interview. They gather about 7 to 8 people in a room and go over a small powerpoint about the graphs that you will have to analyze. They explain what the graphs are showing and after that you are taken into another room one-by-one and asked to regurgitate what you have just been shown.

I applied in February and received an e-mail for a coding challenge about a week later. A couple days later they contacted me and asked for a phone interview. After that was an on-site interview with 5 members. The process probably would have taken 3 weeks if Coronavirus hadn't intervened.

The hiring process occurs in 3 stages: a phone screening, a behavioral panel interview, and a group/presentation style interview. I appreciated the thorough interview process, though do not be fooled by the job title. This role seems to be visual data analytics only, and job growth/promotion potential seems to be slow. The folks I interviewed were there from 7-13 years, so they definitely want you to stay there forever and they don’t seem to have any programs to help you with personal growth. They purposely train you on in-house technology only, so if you’re coming out of college with knowledge of Python, R, SQL, Perl or C++, be prepared to throw that all away. The good thing is that they are transparent about this, but if you’re fresh out of college with no job prospects, of course you’ll go along with whatever they say. The panel interview is just you with 3 of their senior analysts and is super behavioral heavy. As long as you give them generic answers along with specific examples, you should pass this round. The final interview is a presentation of the type of data analysis you’ll be doing with a group of about 7-8 other applicants. They present the information fast, so take notes and ask questions. After they finish the presentation, they take you to a work station to test you on the material. Explain what you’re doing and why and that should be your ticket in. I understand why the pay is low, but for the slow job growth I observed, I elected to decline my offer.

Two rounds happened. The staff was very friendly. In the both rounds detailed explanation of work was told including each other's expectations. It was a very satisfactory experience. I had first round via skype and second round in person.

A short call of the R&D manager in Dhahran Saudi Arabia. He asked me to come next day in the morning. I came 8, entered 9. He told me about the project. No questions at all. Then asked me to come tomorrow to meet HR in his office!!!. Again waited for half an hour. We discussed salary and there is no other benefits. No interview, no questions. Just chit chat. They said they accepted me but have to wait. After weeks of waiting and several emails, they reply with the joining date. Totally non professional
