Avantages
-Flexible 980 work schedule was great for having every other Friday off. -Lots of knowledge sharing between individuals. -Structured Assessment process, though it got tedious every year because it took so much time. -Nice relocation package if you ever have to move across the country for an internal position within the company after you've been there awhile. -Plenty of vacation time, better than any other employer I've ever worked for.
Inconvénients
-Lower salary than market. -Hard to get a promotion unless you changed projects. -Management did not help you find a project after your current project ended. If they did help, it was often far too late. -Sometimes had to work weekends or late evenings due to a compressed project schedule. -Often had dinner or lunch served to me on late evenings or weekends, which was nice but showed that the project schedule wasn't planned properly. -Job opportunities relied on what clearance level you have. If you don't have it, you can't even apply unless they are willing to upgrade you. -Relocation package for new hires isn't that great. -Health insurance was very expensive.
