Avantages
LM is a good place to work. The commitment to ethics is not just for show. Lots of really smart people. Lots of opportunity within the company. Plenty of variety in projects and things to work on. The programs you work on are critical to the nation (i.e. the work you do actually matters). Solid business base and backlog. LM is a great American company.
Inconvénients
Very process heavy, bureaucratic, slow to act. Lack of will to try new things. Lots of ex-military and ex-government people try to make LM operate like the military / government. Too much compliance training. Heavy east coast focus and perspective.
