Avantages

Design has a seat at the table and is part of the decision making process. Customer empathy is a core value that is constantly evangelized throughout the company. Cross-functional partners are encouraged to conduct customer interviews and do follow me homes so that they can also identify problems and gain insight. Benefits are competitive to other "tech giants". We get $1k reimbursement for health related benefits and folks encourage a work and life balance. My team of product developers are amazing to collaborate and work with. Mobility moves are highly encouraged and managers are super supportive. There are tons of folks who are willing to coach and challenge you to grow craft and in leadership.

Inconvénients

Old tech infrastructure and disorganization causes churn and burn out. Compromises are made often so that we launch an mvp but due to reorgs, some experiences are launched half way and not completely. Roadmap often changes due to marketing requests or to meet numbers more than what is the best experience for customers.

Avantages

Benefits are amazing, medical insurance, vision and dental. Company match on 401K and volunteer time off.

Inconvénients

They keep making decisions to outsource jobs to contract workers who don't share the same value in training or customer care. Oh they say they do but when you catch the listening to music so loud you can't hear the customer, or literally snoring on the line they can't do anything because of the way the contracts are set up. It is up to the contract company and the contract company just needs warm bodies. They did not even supply enough people doing our busiest season this year to co or the shifts that were required in the contract. So good luck with that. They will always eventually lay you off.
