Avantages

Company works hard to live by thier mission statement and commitment to customers and employees alike. Although every company experiences attrition at all levels I don't think you'll find a company with such a high percentage of long-time (5+ years) employees. There are opportuniites for leadership training on a regular basis, you only need to keep alert for sign-ups and follow-through if this is the path you would like to take.

Inconvénients

Direct compensation seems to be lacking and for a technology company the equipment and tools are stuck a few years behind the power curve. They do make up for this with a strong benefits package, but sometimes the numbers on the W-2 speak the loudest. Support teams have become fragmented and isolated. The sales force seems to be favored and more motivated. Nobody wants to pay for support, but without a well managed and compensated support team users would give up and quit using the software.

Avantages

Benefits are amazing, medical insurance, vision and dental. Company match on 401K and volunteer time off.

Inconvénients

They keep making decisions to outsource jobs to contract workers who don't share the same value in training or customer care. Oh they say they do but when you catch the listening to music so loud you can't hear the customer, or literally snoring on the line they can't do anything because of the way the contracts are set up. It is up to the contract company and the contract company just needs warm bodies. They did not even supply enough people doing our busiest season this year to co or the shifts that were required in the contract. So good luck with that. They will always eventually lay you off.
