Avantages
It’s a fast paced and growing environment you constantly feel like you’re part of something bigger than your role. It’s constantly evolving so you can’t get bored and you’re definitely constantly trailblazing. There is also a big emphasis in leadership training around empathy and inclusion and diversity.
Inconvénients
With constant change can be a period of uncertainty on what your role will look like next, how to be successful and the usual teething of exploring new ways of recognising revenue. If you are based in a region outside of the US there are also challenges around getting approvals for hiring, deals, promotions etc which can be frustrating as with all the good intentions of the world it’s impossible for the US to react quickly enough for other geography’s not to lose a days work waiting. It also doesn’t feel like the career progression piece is fit for purpose for regions growing at a faster pace than the US or being expected to do more with less resources.
