Avantages

Amazing atmosphere, helpful team leaders and managers, very friendly helpful colleagues. Great pay, amazing flexibility in terms of when do you work, comfortable work location, pleasant building. The job itself is easy enough, while not being too monotone, you get to help clients make the best decisions for their finances. TD has great values for the customers and its employees, lots of integrity, transparency, honesty. I feel good working for such a company.

Inconvénients

Minimum hours 22.5 per week, for a student this may be a bit too much.
Training is a bit rushed.

Conseils à la direction

More schedule flexibility in terms of how many hours one is available/week. More tests during training, not just random games but to check the knowledge of all the softwares, basic knowledge of credit cards, so on , tests from common to uncommon scenarios to prepare the agent on how to deal with all sorts of situations.

    Avantages

    Leadership is strong, great company culture and feedback is offered and received well. Senior leadership is invested in their employees and job satisfaction.

    The TD brand and reputation is true and tried, I’ve been impressed with how involved and committed the senior leadership team is to the growth and development of their people.

    Inconvénients

    Haven’t seen anything yet that I would consider a con other than they are a bit behind in technology. Very easy fix.

    Keep up with the strong leadership and invest in advancing internal technology.

    J'ai travaillé chez TD en contrat permanent (Plus de 3 ans)

    Avantages

    Gave me the opportunity to grow my networking skills. Started as a customer service rep and with a little effort was promoted multiple times. Really encourage long term employees. Benefits are great. Cool opportunities to get involved.

    Inconvénients

    Too metrics focused - keep in mind you're still just a number (particularly true in GTA). Hours and wages not the best - people not paid the same for the same role so this is one of the places I encourage you to talk with your peers about salary.

    Conseils à la direction

    Cut the "selling scripts" for those who already perform well - these should only be required when training and can ruin the flow of a good customer service worker. Recognize someone's willingness to work hard (because we all know there's not a ton of them) and pay them appropriately. I ultimately left because after 3 promotions I was being paid the same wage as an Easyline new hire.
