      Avantages

      Being surrounded by talented and dedicated people. Seattle is a great place to live. The signing bonus wasn't bad and staying at the W hotel was nice. Can't wait til headquarters is moved to South Lake Union. It's just plain cool.

      Inconvénients

      It's 24/7. You're always plugged in. The employee discount isn't all that. Tribal knowledge is rampant. Departments tend to work in silos. The food gets old after a while in the International District. Seattle winters are long and dark.

      Avantages

      AWS has one of the most fun and interactive assessments upon applying and if you pass they almost instantly give you an interview with the recruiter.

      Really smart people, a lot of opportunity for growth, always encouraged to be innovative, think big, and create something new. Competitive salary and benefits with other major tech companies. 100% self motivating work environment. No dress code and 4 legged friends are welcome.

      Inconvénients

      You have to be self motivated. NO ONE will hold your hand and tell you that you're doing a great job. If you need constant affirmations from management, this company isn't for you.
