You get free coffee, can learn about how to build an application at web scale, and work with some smart people.

Inconvénients

Smart people doing stupid things. Well intended management / leadership doing stupid things. Lack of strong career planning ... happens once a year. Be prepared to be anal about details. A company that is still trying to be a startup (act like one in terms of results) but with big company bureaucracy (ie. better cover your arse).

Inconvénients

You have to be self motivated. NO ONE will hold your hand and tell you that you're doing a great job. If you need constant affirmations from management, this company isn't for you.
