Another ZIM success story! Thanks to our shipping containers' advanced alert system which informs if a container is opened or if the temperature rises, our dedicated support team was able to catch a container's power failure right on time and save (what we then discovered to be) $4 million in pharmaceutical cargo! The container was traveling from Israel to the Netherlands through Koper, and during its journey, we continued to follow up until after midnight when the container was reconnected to the electrical grid. The personalized service we provide around the clock, our devoted support team, and the advanced alarm system built into our shipping containers, are some of our greatest assets, which ensure all our clients are left satisfied.

Just in time for the Jewish High Holidays, I assisted in packing food parcels for children in need, along with other ZIM managers including Yakov Baruch, EVP HR, Yair Seroussi, Chairman of the Board, and Avi Shitrit, Chairman of the Employee Committee. We are proud to inform you that we have exercised our option to long-term charter an additional five 7,000 TEU LNG dual-fuel container vessels from Seaspan Corporation, as part of a transaction announced by ZIM and Seaspan in July 2021. As part of our ongoing commitment to serve our operations and meet our customers' growing needs, there will be a total of fifteen vessels contracted under this deal.
