Our very own Kevin Li, President of ZIM South China & Taiwan, was recently interviewed on CCTV-2, China’s leading news channel, where he shared his take on the holiday market demands across the cross-border e-commerce industry. "Over the last two weeks, we assisted in clearing approximately 70% of our designated containers, resulting in a 26% reduction inside both ports”, Kevin said.
Saving lives at sea! On November 20th, the MV Harrison, operated by ZIM on the Adriatic Express Service (ADX), actively participated in a rescue operation under the command of the Hellenic Coast Guard. The MV Harrison came to the rescue of a yacht carrying 69 refugees in the Adriatic, lifting six people who had fallen overboard and afterward managed to tow the damaged yacht. Sadly, one of the six people who had fallen overboard has perished. The MV Harrison performed exceptionally, by saving human lives at sea and demonstrating outstanding seamanship in heavy weather. Our respect and sincere thanks to Captain Dmitriy Berdyshev and his crew!

The #ZFactor making a splash 💦 We're proud to share that ZIM had recently participated in the first Israeli Maritime Space Convention. The discussions focused on key concerns and upcoming challenges to our waterways and coasts, with government, corporate, and environmental organizations coming together for the first time to debate important topics. Shay Levy, Head of Global #Sustainability & ESG, represented us during a discussion on environment and preservation, and Nir Avni, Managing Director, represented us in a panel on the sea as a statistical resource, hosted by Prof. Shaul Horev. Thanks to everyone who took part in this successful and insightful convention!
