This month marks an important milestone in Univar Solutions’ continued evolution. We’ve announced a leadership transition designed to support our next phase of growth and strategic transformation. Effective July 1, David Jukes will transition from President & CEO to Executive Chair—where he will continue to guide long-term strategy, governance, and external partnerships, while ensuring continuity across the business. We’re also pleased to see Nicholas Alexos join our Board of Directors, following his impactful tenure as CFO—particularly during our transition to a private company.

Univar Solutions was honored to welcome students from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette chapter of the Association of Technology, Management, and Applied Engineering (ATMAE) to our Lafayette, Louisiana facility last week as part of an American Chemistry Council initiative. Their energy, curiosity, and passion for the chemistry field sparked meaningful conversations with our team and made the visit both inspiring and educational. The goal of the visit was to strengthen connections between students and industry professionals and provide a real world look into the distribution business. Bryce Lyons, Operations Manager, spoke to the students about the chemical distribution industry and operations at the plant. We always value the opportunity to connect with the next generation of scientists and innovators.
