Greg Acker has been a Lawn Specialist for over 45 years in the Buffalo NY market. We could not be more honored than to have the privilege of sharing some of his story: "I started with ChemLawn August 1st 1977. I stayed as a lawn specialist for my entire career. Still doing this after 45 years and at age 66, I feel fortunate that I am still able to service the lawns. I've never used a ride-on and do everything by hand. Instead of paying to go to the gym, I am being paid for the workout. I feel that is rewarding. I am an avid hunter and fisherman. With all the walking I do at TruGreen, it keeps me in shape for walking the woods and streams. The thing I like most about the job is being outside doing work and servicing my own customers. I like taking a new customer’s lawn that is in rough shape and seeing it progress throughout the season. I like the people I work with, especially my manager John Roney. I will end by saying what my first trainer had told me that has always stuck with me. “Treat every customer's lawn like it's your own”." #LifeAtTruGreen
