TransUnion plays a key stewardship role in the global economy, ensuring each person is reliably and safely represented in the marketplace. In 2020, we were reminded of and recommitted to the importance of taking care of each other inside and outside the workplace. That came to life in two landmark reports: The TransUnion 2020 Sustainability Report takes a transparent, data-driven look at our performance across environment, social and governance issues. We’re committed to integrating sustainability into every aspect of our business and culture. The TransUnion 2020 Diversity Report details DE&I efforts to support women, underrepresented groups, the LGBTQ+ community and people of all races and ethnicities. We’ve seen measurable progress in areas like hiring and development, but recognize there’s more to do. We’re working to create healthy systems that power opportunity and prosperity for hundreds of millions of people. If that’s important to you too, take a look and let us know how we’re doing.

In honor of Women’s History Month, we’re celebrating women at TransUnion who are achieving great things. This week we were proud to interview Pia Arellano, President/CEO of TransUnion Philippines. During her tenure, the Philippines rose 29 notches in the World Bank Doing Business 2020 report for ease of doing business — largely thanks to improved access to credit. We talked with Pia about her team’s accomplishments, the role of building healthy economies around the world, and perceptions vs reality of women in leadership. She also discusses her pride in TransUnion’s efforts to drive financial inclusion in a country where 65% of the population remains unbanked. Thanks for sharing your story, Pia!

In honor of Women’s History Month, we’re celebrating women at TransUnion who are achieving great things. This week, we’re proud to feature Rachel Goldberg, Head of U.S. Government Relations at TransUnion. In just over a year Rachel has made an outsized impact at TU by advancing policies aimed at helping consumers access credit and protect their financial health. Rachel’s leadership coincides with the unprecedented period of legislative activity around the COVID-19 crisis. In her role, she seeks out win-win solutions to protect consumers and empower lenders. Rachel has often embraced being “the only” in the room, and is grateful for the trailblazers who came before her. Recently, The Hill publication recognized her leadership efforts and we’re proud to have her as part of our TU family. We’re grateful for you, Rachel!

In honor of Women’s History Month, we’re celebrating women at TransUnion who are achieving great things. This week, we’re thrilled to introduce you to Tammie Jackson, who has made many significant contributions to our organization and her industry in her 16 years with TransUnion, but her most recent accomplishment is truly record-breaking. In June, 2021 Tammie will officially become the 75th National Chair of the Board of Directors for Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA). While this accomplishment is impressive in its own right, it also represents a historic moment in HFMA history as she will be the first Black person to assume this role. Congratulations, Tammie!
