Our mission in motion! Team Sutter rocked the ride this past weekend to stand against gun violence and advocate for safer, healthier communities. As the premiere event sponsor this year, Team Sutter stepped up big for Rock the Ride Napa County — more than just a ride, it’s a movement to end gun violence through awareness and action. For the second year, we made a strong showing, riding, walking and rallying to support the cause.
Nursing Symposium 2025 Our 7th annual Nursing Symposium brought together more than 800 Sutter nurses and nurse colleagues from across Sutter Health. Nurses from all levels and care settings joined Sutter’s CEO and President Warner Thomas, Chief Nurse Officer Kat Holmes and other leaders for an inspiring day of speeches and breakout sessions. Attendees were actively engaged through interactive breakout sessions, poster presentations by authors, and department exhibits. The atmosphere was incredible as #TeamSutter fostered connections and collaboration! Nurses even had a special visit from our mascot, River!

Sutter's Forbes Norris team rolls deep for ALS cure! As one of the nation’s leading ALS research centers, Sutter's Forbes Norris MDA/ALS Research and Treatment Center continues to advance groundbreaking clinical trials that bring promising therapies from the lab to patients faster. It was a beautiful day in Golden Gate Park as members from Sutter’s Forbes Norris Center in San Francisco proudly joined – and helped sponsor – the Jim Tracy 5K Walk & Roll to Cure ALS. The team walked and rallied to support those living with ALS, raising $6,828 to fuel research, high-quality care, and advocacy. Sixteen Sutter hospitals earned an “A” Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group, an independent national nonprofit focused on patient safety. This recognition is awarded to hospitals for their exceptional performance in patient safety and quality of care.
