With Davos around the corner, the World Economic Forum has published its Global Risks Report 2024, highlighting that although the environmental challenges that lie ahead are increasing, so is our ability to respond and act meaningfully. The results of the report demonstrate that extreme weather events are the number one long-term risk, caused by critical changes to Earth systems. A key solution to tackling this is to reduce emissions and accelerate the pace of a fair, clean transition. As a dedicated partner of the energy transition, it is our number one priority to be part of the solution, and ensure our renewable projects contribute to overcoming these urgent global risks – so that we secure a brighter future for both people and planet.
Congratulations to our legal team who have been named one of the finalists in the Women and Diversity in Law Summit and Awards! They’ve been shortlisted for the ‘Environmental Sustainability Initiative of the Year’ category, which recognises work that has successfully promoted diversity, equity, and inclusion related to environmental sustainability. As we know, building a diverse and inclusive workforce that enables every member of our OneTeam to reach their full potential is a central pillar of our values and behaviours that drive our culture. We are grateful to draw upon a broad range of perspectives and expertise from our One Team, as we continue to provide renewable energy solutions to brighten our future!
