Erik has worked at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital – Janesville since its doors first opened. After years as an Emergency Department Tech, Erik is excited to begin his next chapter as a Respiratory Therapist at SSM Health. Daminique enjoyed watching shows like Grey's Anatomy while growing up, but becoming a bedside nurse never crossed her mind as a possible career. However, after years of career twists and turns, Daminique's dream came true. Daminique first joined SSM Health St. Mary's - Janesville in 2018, securing a job in Food and Nutrition Services. Her role involved operating the kitchen phone and delivering patients their meals. While delivering the meals, she had the opportunity to interact with the patients and the nursing team. "I witnessed the work that went into patient care and started to get really curious about it all," Daminique said. After a job shadow, she decided to pursue becoming a CNA. She continued working in Food and Nutrition Services while attending school. Daminique graduated in May 2024 and has continued to work at SSM Health St. Mary's - Janesville because "it sort of feels like a second family and home."
