We had a Townhall at River Island today… and it looked a little different. 👀 We hosted our first RI Exec Roundtable, where Jane Eskriett (Brand & Product Managing Director) was joined by Natalie Fuorvito, Gemma Shearsmith, Charlotte Barrow, Becky Smith and Katy Boucher for an open conversation on managing change and adapting to new ways of working. It was an honest and inspiring session that reminded us that change isn’t just something that happens to us, it’s something we shape together. 💬 Each panellist shared how they’ve been supported through change, empowered to try new things, and how that mindset has led to real results, for their teams, their growth and the business. It’s sessions like this that make us proud to be part of a brand that celebrates transparency, creativity and collaboration at every level. Say hello to our brand-new store in Eldon Square! ✨ From the very first shop fit floor plan to the final VM touch up, it was a true team effort. Our Shopfit, VM, Tech, and in store teams rolled up their sleeves, pulled together, and worked their magic (and yes, even a few late nights!) to make it happen. An now, we've got a store we’re seriously proud of, and a perfect example of what we can achieve when we collaborate, get creative, and have fun along the way. At River Island, we’re big believers in making space for people to grow into something new and do something different. From Art Major to Woman in STEM, here's Mulan's story... Starting out as an art major, Mulan made the leap into tech through a self-taught journey and now works on our Tech Support team as a Service Desk Analyst. She's the first point of call when things go wrong, and often, the first person to make you smile too. We caught up with her to talk about breaking into tech, trying something new, and a River Island project she’ll never forget - helping lead the donation of over 200 devices to Tech For Good, giving children access to technology for learning and connection. She’s proof that there’s no one way into tech and the journey in your career is always the best part. “I didn’t think I could be technical.
