The current standard for assessing tumor response in clinical trials - RECIST, performed by human readers - can be challenged by investigator bias, subjectivity in lesion selection and measurement variability. To address this, Quibim has partnered with Friends of Cancer Research on its artificial intelligence-based measurement of response evaluation criteria in solid tumors (ai.RECIST) project. The ai.RECIST project evaluates AI-based tumor measurement tools to: ✔️ Provide consistent and accurate tumor measurements ✔️ Align with expert RECIST readouts ✔️ Reduce variability and streamline trials Check Quibim's AI-supported RECIST tool, embedded in QP-Insights: https://bit.ly/3ELhH3p #aiRECIST #AIinResearch
The PROVIDENCE study, sponsored by Johnson & Johnson, S.A. in collaboration with Quibim, leverages artificial intelligence to predict metastatic relapse in patients with intermediate- to high-risk localized #ProstateCancer. 📊 Clinical data and diagnostic imaging are analyzed using the QP-Insights® platform to support non-invasive, real-time risk stratification. Interim results (n=127) demonstrate promising predictive performance for biochemical recurrence (AUC: 0.79), with surgery, PSA levels, and ISUP grade identified as key clinical predictors. Final results, currently in progress, will incorporate quantitative imaging biomarkers to further advance personalized treatment strategies. CADt, CADe, CADx – What’s the Difference? AI-based computer-aided triage (CADt), detection (CADe) and diagnosis (CADx) are becoming increasingly important in medical imaging: ⚡ 𝐂𝐀𝐃𝐭 – Identifies potentially urgent cases to prioritize their review, without making a diagnosis. 🩺 𝐂𝐀𝐃𝐞 – Flags suspicious regions on medical images to assist as a second reader. 🔬 𝐂𝐀𝐃𝐱 – Analyzes and characterizes lesions to support diagnostic decisions. So... is CADe/x a game-changer in radiology? We break it all down in our latest blog 👉 https://bit.ly/4hZIuaa #AIinHealthcare #Radiology #MedicalImaging #AIPoweredCAD #PrecisionMedicine
