Events like the 𝘖𝘯𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘺 𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘈𝘡𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘚𝘶𝘮𝘮𝘪𝘵, hosted today by AstraZeneca in Madrid, are essential for sharing knowledge and fostering collaboration across the oncology community. With a focus on the latest advances in drug development and how to enhance clinical practice through innovative technologies, the event brought together key stakeholders driving the future of #cancercare. This year, our Medical Advisor Almudena Fuster Matanzo represented Quibim in the session “AI in Clinical Practice: Success Stories”, joining Siemens and Sycai Medical to highlight disruptive imaging solutions. It was a great opportunity to showcase how innovative tools can unlock the full potential of imaging data and help shape a future where technology and medicine work seamlessly together to transform cancer care. #OncologyInnovation #AIinHealthcare #MedicalImaging

In the healthcare sector, certifications go far beyond regulatory checkboxes - they are a guarantee of safety, performance and trust for both patients and professionals. Josep Hortigüela, Senior Vice President of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs, took to the stage at the 𝐈 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐮𝐦 in Madrid to share Quibim's regulatory journey. In his talk, “𝘔𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘚𝘰𝘧𝘵𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘦. 𝘊𝘌 𝘊𝘦𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯. 𝘒𝘦𝘺 𝘗𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘓𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘓𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘥”, Josep reflected on Quibim's path —three CE certifications under the MDR and three FDA clearances for AI-based SaMD solutions—to reveal what it truly takes to bring certified medical software to market. He emphasized the critical factors for compliance, including lifecycle standards and clinical evaluation, as well as cybersecurity, quality management, and realistic timelines, all essential for delivering safe and effective AI solutions in healthcare. 🎗️ 1 in 8 men will be diagnosed with #ProstateCancer during their lifetime, and although localized cases have a five-year survival rate of nearly 100%, this figure drops to 32% when the disease spreads. In a recent pharmaphorum article, our CEO & Co-Founder Ángel Alberich-Bayarri explores how AI-generated images can transform prostate cancer care, enabling earlier detection, reducing unnecessary biopsies, and offering more personalized treatment. Awareness is important. But innovation is what will change outcomes. https://lnkd.in/ddYj5qqR #ProstateCancerAwareness #AIInHealthcare #MedicalImaging #CancerCare
We’re always excited to see advancements in prostate cancer detection that don’t require invasive biopsies. In honor of #ProstateCancerAwarenessMonth, we’re pleased to share this study on a promising noninvasive urine test that identifies prostate cancer using three biomarkers: TTC3, H4C5, and EPCAM. The test detects #ProstateCancer with 91% accuracy, even in PSA-negative patients, and can distinguish cancer from benign conditions like BPH and prostatitis. By reducing unnecessary biopsies, it represents a major step toward safer, earlier, and more precise diagnoses. It’s encouraging to see science opening new paths to earlier, safer, and more precise diagnoses. At Quibim, we’ve always believed medical images hold far more information than meets the eye. Today, after major collaborative research, we’re proud to share a milestone published in European Radiology: our latest systematic review and meta-analysis, covering data from over 45,000 non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients, shows that AI applied to routine chest CT scans can predict key tumor mutations such as EGFR, ALK, and KRAS. This finding has the potential to support treatment decisions by prioritizing patients with the highest mutation likelihood, minimizing delays in targeted therapies, and optimizing healthcare resources without compromising quality. We’re deeply grateful to our incredible team and partners who made this breakthrough possible. This is just the beginning of transforming everyday medical images into powerful tools for precision oncology. https://bit.ly/4mcUpU2 #AI #mutationstatus #NSCLC #Medicalimaging #radiomics #lungcancer #radiology
