Our team was honoured to visit BC Children’s Hospital to celebrate our partnership built on purpose, care, and community, including support through the Dear Santa campaign. It was especially meaningful to see the impact on children and families and spend time with Navy, our Dear Santa child ambassador, and her family, as she shared her inspiring story. Sharing small chocolate treats with such brave young patients made the day memorable. The visit was a powerful reminder of the impact we can create together. Thank you to the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation team for your warm welcome and the meaningful work you do every day. 💜 #PurdysChocolatier #PurplePartnerships #CommunityImpact #StrongerTogether

We are devastated to see the impact of wildfires across Canada affecting communities, loved ones and the environment. Purdys Chocolatier is making a $10,000 Purple Partnerships donation to support the Canadian Red Cross in their ongoing wildfire relief efforts.
This year, in celebration of International Women’s Day and in efforts to #EmbraceEquity, we’ve donated $25,000 to Up With Women through Purple Partnerships. 💜 Through this partnership, we hope to support their mission to help recently homeless and at-risk women and gender-diverse individuals build a sustainable pathway out of poverty. Our donation will provide up to five women and gender-diverse clients of Up With Women’s national Coaching Program with the resources and support to exit poverty permanently. On September 30th, Canada marks Orange Shirt Day, and our first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. To honour the victims, Survivors, and the lost children of Canada’s Residential School System, Purdys is donating $10,000 each to Legacy of Hope, and Indian Residential School Survivors Society. Both organizations do tremendous and necessary support to First Nations, Inuit and Métis Survivors as well as their families and communities. We have always known of the cruel history of Canada’s residential schools, it has taken last year’s discoveries of mass graves in former schools across Canada, to realise the true extent of the violence, neglect, and abuse endured by the hundreds and thousands of Indigenous children. The shameful history and pain continue and will be felt for generations to come. As a company, and more importantly, a Canadian company, we’re committed to remembering and learning from the past. Because truth shouldn’t be forgotten, and the truth of the victims and Survivors should be recognized and told.
