We recently launched our Prodi-G Intern programme at PropertyGuru Group and are thrilled to have the opportunity over the coming weeks to spotlight a few of SE Asia’s ambitious rising star talents in the digital and technology sector. First up, it’s Quang Nguyen, aka “August”. August graduated with a BA from the Foreign Trade University in HCMC, Vietnam specialising in international administration, and is currently finalising his MBA at Singapore Management University. He’s the Founder of the tech blog 'creat-io' and an investment portfolio manager in his spare time. Working in our FinTech business alongside Alexander Zonneveld and Janice Lim, August’s combined skills in tech, data and analytics are focused on assessing and improving the effectiveness of our sales processes as we help our customers with critical home financing information to help them achieve their aspirations to be home owners. We recently published our inaugural Sustainability Report and had the pleasure of engaging media from Malaysia and Singapore to launch Gurus For Good, our sustainability strategy and the report. Gurus For Good is a tangible manifestation of our Group’s vision whereby we power communities to live, work and thrive in tomorrow’s cities. The session was hosted by Chief Marketing Officer, Disha Goenka, Head of Sustainability, Cecile Corda and Head of Real Estate Intelligence, Nai Jia Lee, as they deep dived into the report and shared about the three pillars that the strategy is built on – Sustainable Living, Thriving Communities and Responsible Business. The session resulted in many interesting conversations and provided the attendees with insights into how Gurus For Good came about, our motivations and way forward. From our early steps of introspection towards our climate impact, to being an employee-first organisation with our forward-looking DEI policies. From creating an accessible and bias free marketplace to leveraging data intelligence to help build thriving cities. The inaugural report is a testament to PropertyGuru Group's efforts and commitment in positively impacting the various communities we interact with, a responsibility we take very seriously.
