🗣 “If you love building games and you want to use your skills for a more socially beneficial reason, this is absolutely the place to be.” 🕹 These are the words of Nafis Shaikh, Director, Product Management, Math Game at Prodigy Education. We chatted to Nafis as part of our new 'Meet our Prodigies' series, where we introduce you to the incredibly talented people supporting our mission to help every student in the world love learning. 🧡
"Of all the games on this list, Prodigy does arguably the best job of encouraging kids to continue playing and learning. Maths can often be one of the toughest subjects to make interesting for children, making Prodigy an excellent option for teaching the subject." - GameRant With our Game Team working hard to create amazing engaging experiences for our students every day, it's no surprise Prodigy Math is listed as one of the 10 Best Educational Video Games for Children! 📈 🕹
There's only one thing more rewarding than supporting Prodigy Education's mission to help every student love learning—and that's seeing it in action! 🧡 Our team was honoured to spend some time at Oakland Avenue Charter School in Florida, where we saw first-hand the impact of Prodigy Math and English with students. Thank you to everyone for the very warm welcome!
Prodigy Education Appoints Chief Marketing Officer Sarah Welch to Drive Growth of Award-Winning Learning Games! Prodigy is delighted to announce the appointment of Sarah as CMO to further accelerate the growth of the company’s award-winning EdTech products, Prodigy Math and Prodigy English.
Our team at Prodigy Education is innovative, creative and smart! But sometimes we just need uninterrupted focus-time to do our very best work... What better way to do that, than to spend one full day every month with dedicated Time to Allow Creative Output… or TACO Tuesdays? 🌮 Every month, Prodigy blocks one day in everyone’s calendar as a no-meeting day. That way, each one of us can get deep into the projects and activities that we really want to immerse ourselves in.
We held our first-ever Teen Summer Hackathon in partnership with Canada Learning Code and Prodigy's very own Women in Engineering and Workplace Experience teams! 👩💻 This event was free to attend at our Oakville headquarters, and was held specifically for 13 to 17-year-old female-identified, trans, and beyond-binary teens, with the group collaborating in using technology to make the world a better place! With the support of CLC and Prodigy volunteers our teen learners had the opportunity to learn: - Basic techniques and concepts that are translatable to other programming languages - The building blocks of how HTML and CSS work together to create richer online experiences - How to create a website with images, hyperlinks and text - What resources are available to continue learning at home The demos were amazing and our learners enjoyed the experience and opportunities to expand on their technical knowledge. It was a pleasure working with our partners at CLC. The future is bright! 😎
12 years ago, our co-CEOs Alexander Peters & Rohan Mahimker set out on a mission to help every student in the world love learning, and we've been on an amazing journey since! We're so proud of everything we've done over these past 12 years. It’s taken a HUGE amount of work by our enormously talented team to get here & we’ve also been humbled by the incredible support of millions of students, teachers, and parents from all over the world. 😍 To celebrate this magical moment, we hosted an event today with Alex Crow, one of the UK's top mind readers! ✨ (Special shout out to our Workplace Experience team for putting this together!) Thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey so far. We’re just getting started! 🎊 #insideprodigy #companyanniversary
