The Connection Summer 2023
The Parsec team’s first Winter Coat Drive officially ended on 1/30/23 and was a huge success! Due to the generosity of the Parsec employees, we provided 310 coats, 6 Gloves, 4 Hats, and 3 Ski pants to children and adults in the communities we work in throughout North America. Through the One Warm Coat Drive every $1 donated warms one person and we are proud to share that we raised $925 dollars in donations. Which brought our final totals to 1235 people receiving warmth this winter. #ShareWarmth #parsecinc #LightYearsAhead
Parsec, Inc. would like to announce, Bill Pauls’ retirement. He has a span of almost 50 years working in the intermodal business. This is longer than any Parsec employee. What an incredible accomplishment! He officially joined Parsec when Piggyback Services was purchased in 1987. Bill has been instrumental in Parsec’s successful growth and has been involved in every ramp start-up during his tenure. He has trained countless people who are still with the company and has moved several times to do what was needed for the success of the organization. He has truly been the “jack of all trades” by working almost every intermodal job over the years. Bill has seen the incredible evolution of our industry. We are saddened to see Bill retire but are excited that he will assume a consulting role for Parsec, Inc. so we can continue to benefit from his expertise on future projects. Parsec would like to wish Bill a very happy retirement!
