Orkin made a surprise appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! And it was the kind of moment that shows what makes our culture special. During a March Madness segment featuring uniquely named players, University of West Alabama’s Amillion Buggs joined virtually. Live on air, we surprised him with an NIL sponsorship, because when your last name is “Buggs,” the partnership just writes itself. It was fun, fast‑moving, and full of personality, which is exactly how we like to work. We’ll be teaming up with Amillion on content in the coming months, and our teams are excited to bring this creative project to life. If you’re looking for a company that embraces creativity, celebrates big moments, and isn’t afraid to have fun, check out Orkin's opportunities.
We want to give a special shoutout to an Orkin superstar, Michael H., for going above and beyond in a moment that truly mattered. Back in January, Michael noticed an 85‑year‑old man who had become lost while trying to pick up his grandchildren. The man’s family had no idea where he was. Michael immediately stepped in by stopping to help, contacting the family, and guiding them to their missing loved one. His family later shared: “Mike’s actions demonstrate that humanity and compassion still exist, even when most people seem too busy to help a stranger. I hope Orkin recognizes that his behavior reflects not only his character but also the values of your company. One act of kindness can leave a lasting impression, and Mike exemplifies that perfectly.” We couldn’t agree more. We’re incredibly proud to have teammates like Michael who reflect the very best of Orkin every day.
Branch 437 in San Jose, California, is a great example of what Orkin’s Empathy value looks like in action. The team recently volunteered with Sacred Heart Community Service, giving their time and energy to support families across the local community. Through their efforts, volunteers helped provide food, clothing, and essential services to people who need them most. It’s inspiring to see teammates come together to make such a meaningful difference — and a reminder of the impact we can all have when we step up for our communities. #OrkinServes125

We’re proud of the people who make our culture what it is. Branch 737 recently partnered with Redwood Empire Food Bank in Santa Rosa, California, packing seven pallets of food and helping support 6,290 seniors and families facing food insecurity. This is what teamwork, purpose, and heroic impact look like. If you’re looking for a career where empathy matters and where people truly show up for each other, you’ll fit right in here at Orkin!
Our annual Top Termite Cities List is live, spotlighting the 50 U.S. cities with the highest demand for termite treatment services. The trends are more interesting than ever. After a winter storm in Texas left roads icy and temperatures dangerously low, Ben encountered an emergency while out on his route. A man named John had slipped on the ice, suffering a severe spinal injury that left him unable to move. John lay on the cold ground for nearly 45 minutes before Ben, a complete stranger, stopped to help. John’s wife later shared the experience online, expressing gratitude for Ben’s quick action during an incredibly frightening moment and crediting him with being there when her family needed help most. Ben’s response reflects the character, compassion, and commitment to safety that define our teams. It is a powerful example of Orkin’s Safety Ethos in action and the kind of people who make our organization strong.
At Orkin, we believe making an impact goes beyond pest control. Our teammates take pride in serving communities and supporting one another, creating a workplace where people can grow and make a difference. One current way to help is by donating blood. The American Red Cross is facing a critical shortage, and blood donations save lives. Donors who give between now and February 28, 2026, will receive a $20 e-gift card as a thank you. Visit redcrossblood.org to learn more. As Orkin celebrates 125 years, we are marking this milestone by giving back in meaningful ways. Across the country, our teams are participating in 125 Acts of Good, from volunteering in their communities to small acts of kindness for the people we serve. We encouraged every teammate to contribute 125 minutes of service this year. Just over two hours can make a real difference in the places where it matters most.
This week, the Red River Region team in Fort Worth, Texas, had the privilege of surprising long-time customers of 27 years with a complimentary OrkinScape landscape refresh, including new mulch beds and neatly trimmed bushes around their home. We are proud of our employees for going above and beyond to give back and support the communities we serve. Their dedication reflects the values that make Orkin a place where people can make a heroic impact.
