Last week we were pleased to welcome State Senator Jamie Eldridge to our Next Generation Children’s Center in Marlborough, MA! During his visit, Senator Eldridge toured the school, spent time in classrooms, and connected with our dedicated teachers and students. Opportunities like these allow us to showcase the engaging, nurturing environments our teams create each day. At Cadence Education, we are proud to provide high-quality early childhood education that supports the growth and development of every child—from infants through pre-kindergarten—and to be part of the broader effort to support working families and expand access to early education in our communities. This week in one of our Pre-K rooms, they are learning all about the life cycle of a plant! The children decorated their very own “greenhouses” and planted a bean seed using a wet paper towel. 🌱 The planted seed will be hanging in the window so the children can observe and watch their seeds grow over the next few weeks. They are very excited to see the different phases their seeds will go through as they begin to sprout and grow!
We’ve officially wrapped up our first week of Kids Café, and wow, what an amazing experience it’s been! 🍕✨As they said "It's the best day ever." Our young chefs had the best time learning the importance of washing their hands before cooking, rolling up their sleeves to make their very own dough, and creating personalized pizzas from scratch. They even practiced their cutting skills using safety knives to chop fresh veggies and add their own toppings! It was a week full of learning, laughter, and delicious creations. We are so proud of our little chefs and can’t wait for more fun in the weeks ahead!
We are beyond grateful to our incredible families and dedicated staff for making this year’s Heart's in Art event such a beautiful success! This year, we hosted a silent auction featuring artwork created by all of our classrooms, along with generous donations of talented, handcrafted pieces from our amazing staff. The creativity, love, and effort poured into each item truly made the event special. Because of your generosity and support, we are proud to share that we reached our goal of $1,300 to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital! Thank you to everyone who donated, bid, visit our art around the school, and supported this meaningful cause. Your kindness is making a difference in the lives of children and families who need it most. We are Thankful for our Next Gen Family!
In our first Kids Café session, the children dove into hands-on learning while building important everyday skills. This week’s focus was on early cooking and life skills—exploring measuring, scooping, pouring, and safe cutting using kid-friendly tools. Using simple ingredients like bananas and dry beans, the children practiced: ✨ Fine motor development ✨ Hand-eye coordination ✨ Following simple steps and directions ✨ Confidence and independence in the kitchen Beyond the skills, the joy was in the process—curiosity, teamwork, and pride in trying something new. We loved seeing their focus, excitement, and growing confidence as they worked! We can’t wait to keep building on these skills in the weeks ahead
💛 Giving Tuesday at Cadence Education 💛 Today, on Giving Tuesday, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the power of community and the impact we can make when we come together for a shared purpose. Earlier this month, our School Support Center hosted a St. Jude Trike-A-Thon and raised $38,000, a reflection of the generosity and heart within our home office team. Schools across the Cadence Education family also held events of their own, adding even more support for St. Jude and its mission. We are so proud to partner with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to support their mission of helping make cures possible for children with cancer and bringing hope to countless families.
