Welcome to N Buckhurst Hill. Just a stone’s throw from Buckhurst Hill tube station, our newest nursery brings the N experience to a peaceful pocket of Essex. Step inside and you’ll find seven light-filled, state-of-the-art playrooms, each designed to inspire the next generation of learners. These spaces will play host to our N Curriculum, a play-based approach that brings together the best of Montessori and Reggio Emilia. The dedicated atelier offers children a creative sanctuary where messy play and hands-on activities come together to spark imagination and support each child’s individual development. Outside, the beautiful garden has dedicated areas tailored to each stage of development. Whether children are navigating natural terrain or exploring the seed life cycle, they cultivate a deep and lasting connection to the natural world around them. In line with our B Corp impact commitments, the nursery uses energy-efficient heating and cooling with zero gas, creating a sustainable space designed for the future generations. This Recycling Awareness Week, we’re reflecting on how small changes can help paint a greener future for the next generation. Say hello to N Barnet, the newest member to our family! We’re super excited to welcome families and team to this beautifully-renovated setting that was once a local police station and now serves as the home for our N Curriculum. Set in the heart of New Barnet, Constable House has been sympathetically restored with its preserved architectural features. Past the original timber doors, you’ll find our N Café serving much-needed coffee, tea, and fresh pastries. Beyond the café, eight spacious playrooms are thoughtfully designed to encourage curiosity and independence, while a dedicated Atelier offers a creative space where children can explore and express themselves through our N extras programme. Many of the playrooms feature newly installed skylights that flood the vaulted spaces with natural light, and the building’s fully electric, energy-efficient heating and cooling system reflects our strong commitment to sustainability. Outside, the garden is thoughtfully designed with designated areas including a messy play zone and a dedicated baby area for forest-school inspired learning.
