I’m Brian Hettler, VP of Creative and Strategy at M6, and when I’m not transforming brands through the power of strategic creative I’m a loud and proud leader and activist in the Los Angeles LGBTQIA+ community. This year, I've had the incredible opportunity to march in the Pride parades of Long Beach, West Hollywood, and Hollywood as a representative of the nonprofits Bears LA (winner of Mr. Bear 2024 😉🐻) and the Los Angeles Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence 💅👠. This freedom to express myself and show up authentically outside of work with no questions has a profound impact on my professional life. By marching proudly in these parades and standing tall as a symbol of inclusivity, I feel more empowered to bring my whole self to work every day. And as a leader at MuteSix, my openness about my involvement in hashtag#Pride events and hashtag#LGBTQ+ organizations allows me to set an example for our entire team, demonstrating that everyone can bring their authentic selves to work without fear of judgment or discrimination. At MuteSix, everyone understands that diversity drives creativity and innovation. My journey as a queer community leader and activist has not only enriched my personal life but has also enhanced my ability to contribute unique perspectives to our team.
