Ranell H. leads the MRI team at Methodist Charlton and absolutely loves his job. He’s been in radiology for 25 years and can’t imagine being anywhere else than Methodist Charlton. It’s the perfect balance — small enough to feel like family and large enough to serve a vibrant, growing community. One of the best parts of his job is his incredible, supportive team. They make it a pleasure to come to work each day. But what really keeps him inspired are the patients. Caring for them reminds him of why he chose this career. Methodist Midlothian held an appreciation banquet to honor our amazing volunteers. Our volunteer department allows exceptional people to perform nonclinical tasks that facilitate hospital operations and enhance the comfort of patients and visitors. In the past fiscal year, volunteers have donated 6,160 hours of service, one reason why our hospital has many positive patient experience ratings in key departments. At Methodist Health System, we're on a journey to excellence. That's why four of our hospitals are Magnet®-designated: Methodist Dallas, Methodist Charlton, Methodist Mansfield, and Methodist Richardson. The Magnet designation recognizes organizations for quality patient care, nursing excellence, and innovations in professional nursing practice.
