Our first shout out of the year goes to our Director of Strategic Development, Erin Mattingly, M.A., CCC/SLP, CBIS. Erin received recognition from the National American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) for Outstanding Contributions to Clinical Achievement. As a speech-language pathologist, traumatic brain injury subject matter expert, Erin has over 15 years of experience treating brain injuries in both civilian and military populations. Additionally, she serves as a leader in her role as Chair of the Board for Brain Injury Services, a non-profit organization in Virginia. She has been published multiple times and speaks at state and national levels on the treatment and evaluation of brain injury survivors and suicide prevention. Her contributions within the communication sciences and disorders profession, as well as with Brain Injury Services, have made a lasting impact on the field and are truly inspiring. Her dedication and contributions here at Loyal Source are nothing short of excellent and certainly do not go unnoticed. Congratulations, Erin! Season's Greetings from the Loyal Source team! For 2024, we celebrated our holiday gathering at the most magical place on Earth, Disney's Epcot. From Soarin’ Around the World to Guardians of the Galaxy, our adventure-seeking members had plenty of iconic rides to enjoy. For our food enthusiasts, Epcot's World Showcase offers a 1.3-mile path featuring 11 diverse countries with delicious cuisines and beverages to savor. Those who stayed until 8 PM enjoyed a spectacular end to the evening with Epcot's firework display. Overall, it was an incredible event and a fantastic opportunity to bond with our teammates outside of work. Working for a company that continuously shows appreciation and values its staff is truly unmatched. What a wonderful way to conclude an outstanding year at Loyal Source! Until next year!

This year we faced a tough challenge of bettering our total of 50,000 items raised from the previous year. We also faced a tough challenge of an added facility that is assisting those recovering from hurricane Milton. We are thrilled to announce the success of our 2024 canned food drive in support of the Bithlo community (right here in Orlando). This year we raised a total of 69,256 items. This remarkable achievement is a testament to the generosity and dedication of everyone involved, a huge shout out to the East River High School baseball team for coming to help us load and unload the trucks- we couldn’t of done it without you! The contributions made will greatly assist the Bithlo community in the coming weeks for Thanksgiving and throughout the rest of the year. Our philanthropic and community involvement is near and dear to our hearts, and we are already looking forward to next year!
Our long anticipated corporate X-games made its way back this year! Our reigning champs and X-games alumni have raved about the games since their last appearance. Our 10 teams and their captains kept the hype alive by creating team names and participating in some office-appropriate smack talk. The challenges were kept top secret by our planning committee to keep it fair and interesting. The games consisted of challenges like Brain Malfunction, What’s for Lunch, Pinch a Tent, Caterpillar Connection and more. With a group of judges and volunteers all the games were played to a fair advantage. Even during the rain our fierce teams pushed on! Once the winning team was crowned, we rewarded ourselves with delicious catering from Four Rivers. Huge shout out to the Red Team, “The Office All-Stars” for taking home the winning title and all of our participants and volunteers. We can’t wait for next year!

Congratulations to our graduates! We are proud to be partnered with UCF-CARD (University of Central Florida Center for Autism & Related Disabilities) and PALS (Providing Autism Links & Supports) helping find opportunities for individuals with Autism in Orlando. Through our partnership we are able to offer youth and young adults with Autism the opportunity to learn employment skills. Learning everything from resume writing, interview skills, office etiquette, job search strategies, and more. Our "Loyal Launch" intern program explores careers in marketing, HR, IT, talent management, graphics, office administration, and quality control. Past interns have landed jobs with us and we couldn't be more thankful to be connected to such amazing individuals!
