Meet Agata! Our Customer Experience Team Leader for our EMEA team and is based in based in Wrocław, Poland. Agata joined Gates in 2022 as one of the first hires for the Industrial First Fit team. Today, she leads teams and projects focused on improving processes, strengthening the customer experience, and building scalable solutions for the future. One of her greatest achievements has been developing a tool that centralizes departmental knowledge, from manuals and templates to internal contacts, creating a process roadmap that now makes daily work more efficient for the entire team. In 2026, this project will evolve with a focus on automation and productivity to further enhance the team’s performance. What Agata values most about her role is the opportunity to grow in multiple areas: people leadership, project management, and direct customer engagement, while always keeping a strong focus on continuous improvement. Her advice for those starting their careers: “Make every day count - be proactive, help others, learn new things - small steps add up over time without us even noticing.” Agata, we’re proud to have you on the Gates team and to see the positive impact you make through your commitment and leadership.

Meet Lauren! Originally from Colorado, Lauren has built a career fueled by curiosity, a passion for engineering, and a desire to solve real-world problems. She joined Gates in July 2021 as a Rotational Engineer after earning her Mechanical Engineering degree from the Colorado School of Mines, gaining experience across multiple teams and locations while developing expertise in product development, especially V-belt and CVT technologies. A standout achievement in her career has been integrating laser technology into product development and manufacturing, enabling more precise data collection, faster development cycles, and continuous innovation. For Lauren, engineering is the opportunity to bring ideas to life in ways that positively impact people and communities. At Gates, she’s found a place where innovation and tradition meet, and where each project presents both a creative challenge and a chance to contribute to a strong, collaborative culture. She values mentorship and believes deeply in learning from people with diverse backgrounds. Lauren actively supports STEM students and mentors young engineers, helping foster growth and inclusion within the technical field. Outside of work, she enjoys the outdoors with her dog, Smokey, and finds creativity through home improvement projects and Lego building. Her message to future STEM professionals: “Your perspectives and skills are essential. You belong here, and no obstacle should make you doubt your potential.”
