What advice do you have for Latinx candidates looking to apply? "The best advice I can offer my fellow Latinos is to be yourself and be proud of where you came from. You bring a different world view to the table and have the natural ability to speak to a community that companies, like Gallo, are very interested in. You wouldn’t know it by my looks, but I was born and raised in Puerto Rico and Spanish is my first language. Back when I was applying, I stressed this so the Recruiters could understand that I could be the missing link between them and multiple diverse communities. Hey! I’m Payton. Based out of Modesto (CA), I’ve been working as a Viticulture Intern for the past 4 months. During this time, I've had the chance to work on hands-on projects alongside talented Scientists, Researchers, and fellow Interns. My Gallo “family” welcomed me with open arms and they've made it an experience to remember!
