I'm on the telly! ⭐ This morning I've braved the wind and rain on Cleethorpes beach to collect litter as part of research being conducted by the Marine Conservation Society. It's volunteering day for Cooper Parry, so I've traded my emails and spreadsheets for a rubbish bag and a litter picker, joining the efforts for the Great British Beach Clean! 🏖️ 😳 Did you know that every year, an estimated 11 million tonnes of plastics enter our ocean? I feel proud to have done my bit to reduce that number today, and grateful to have the opportunity for a day off work to do so! To top it all off, I even featured on BBC One's Morning Live show, in an interview with Abbie Dewhurst! Thanks to the team who were super friendly and put us all at ease 😊 although I think I'll stick to tax advising... A fab morning all round, now for some fish and chips and a well-earned brew! ☕
CP BAKES 🍰 💫 Our people have been busy baking up a storm ahead of the Macmillan Coffee Mornings. We hosted the annual events across our offices in the Midlands and London. And just take a look at what we've been treated to - it's safe to say we've got some star bakers in our midsts. ⭐️ 🥣 These mornings raise much-needed funds for Macmillan and this time we've also raised some money for our charity of the year, Young Lives vs Cancer.
